Kerryn has been working in general practice since 2004, obtaining her fellowship in 2006.
She previously studied at the University of Melbourne, graduating with Honours in 2000 and obtaining the John Cade Memorial Prize for Psychiatry. Her junior years were spent in a variety of rotations working at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Mercy Hospital in East Melbourne and Werribee, The Alfred and The Royal Children’s Hospital. Her GP registrar training was in Mt Martha, Broadmeadows and Bacchus Marsh.
Kerryn worked for 10 years in urban and remote general practice in the Northern Territory, before starting her consulting at East Brunswick Medical Centre in 2016.
In 2024, Kerryn obtained a Masters of Public Health with a research project on the epidemiology of Hepatitis C treatment across Victoria.
Experience and special interests
Her medical interests include women’s health, paediatrics, Indigenous health, travel medicine, tropical medicine and chronic disease management.
